Just like last year I’m making sure I take some time in November to focus on reading and celebrating Indigenous works of fiction. In American November is Native American Heritage Month. But too often Indigenous and Native and stories are recused to this month and forgotten about the rest of the year.

So I’m going to point out some of my favorite other Native literature I’ve encountered throughout the year, as well as following the prompts set out by the head of the challenge. Here are the prompts below:

On the Instagram you can also find recommendations for the prompts though they are not all children’s and YA, which I plan to focus this challenge on. You’ll see my TBR later in the week and though we’ve long established I’m a mood reader, I’ll try and at least keep to most of the books.
