It has been a not so great week. But I’m trying to focus on the positives. For example, I’m working on blog posts for April, so I feel ahead of the game, also I found a way to revamp the Pokemon reads tag to give me more material, I’m adding in a little YA and children’s literature as well. So I’ve had good ideas this week I’ve just felt down.
Books
I spent a lot of the week reading but I’ve mostly been focused on these three books, I should have them finished and have review posts up for April soonish.
The Science of Breakable Things
Amazon: The Science of Breakable Things
Annie’s Life in Lists
Lizzy and the Good Luck Girl
Amazon: Lizzy and the Good Luck Girl
I’ve had a pretty productive week reading.
Crafting
I’m still working on friendship bracelets and want to get back to doing crochet soon. I stopped because I mentally wasn’t feeling well but now even with a bit of depression I’m feeling well enough to start again.
TV/Movies
I’m continuing to watch She-Ra and I started Steven Universe, I know I’m behind the curve on that one, but I’m way behind the curve on a lot, I have a hard time watching TV by myself so I’m just proud of being able to finally watch things.
I want to get back to a regular schedule on bookstagram and start trying to gain more followers there. I feel like I’ve stagnated, so I think a boost of energy there would help my account. I just have a small account and it’s not fancy but I think I can get more followers if I try.
Mental Health
As I said my mental health isn’t that good this week, but I’ve still managed to get posts up, read, play Pokemon, and try to promote the blog. The blog is doing well by the way which I’m super happy about.
I just got told because of disability proceeding I can’t do my favorite volunteer activity this year. I know there is always next year but it really gets me down. I’m going to try to stay positive and put that energy into readathons and working on the blog. But it still hurts my heart and it’s going to take a while to be okay with, so bear with me.
Hopefully, I’ll have more to report next week! How have you all been this week?
